Under this State law, currently enrolled eligible University of California students who are the surviving spouse or child of a law enforcement officer who passed away in the line of duty may be eligible to waive their systemwide tuition and fees.
2023- 2024 and prior: Currently enrolled Federal Pell-eligible students whose parent or guardian died in the line of duty while performing as a public safety officer is eligible to receive a maximum Pell Grant.
Students accepted into the College Corps program at UC San Diego will engage in community-serving opportunities that focus on K-12 education, while also receiving financial compensation and other benefits.
2023- 2024 and prior: If your parent or guardian died as a result of military service in Iraq or Afghanistan, and you are currently enrolled, you may be eligible for this Federal grant.
