This is subject to the timing of enrollment and aid offer acceptance.
In some cases, the session aid may not pay prior to the applicable tuition and fee deadline
Students are responsible for covering any pending bill and may be dropped from courses for non payment.
Multi-Session Enrollment
Summer financial aid is divided and disbursed equally between the earliest starting and latest finishing sessions.
Tuition and Fees are charge per term and may be uneven if units are not equal.
Special Session
Each Special Session has its own start and correlating disbursement date.
Students may need to pay the balance prior to receiving your Special Session financial aid.
Other UC Campus
Student accounts are credited approximately 2 days before the start of classes.
Financial aid offers and disbursements are contingent on student eligibility and the reporting of enrollment to UCSD by the other UC.
Outside Summer Aid
Eligible outside funding may not arrive prior to the tuition and fee deadline.
Students are responsible for full payment of your session fees by the fee deadline.
Students need to report outside resources to the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office.
Additional aid may cause adjustments to your initial aid offer and create a balance owed
Aid Offer Disclosure
Programs and amounts are subject to change due to federal, state and university funding limitations, changes in law, policy, or university procedure, and updated or corrected information.
Adjustments for changes in enrollment are common.
Financial Aid Documents
Review your Financial Aid Required Documents and Tasks for 2025-2026 to be sure you have met all requirements for summer disbursement.
Failure to meet the requirements will result in delayed disbursements for summer.
