Cost of Attendance for 2025-2026

Some or all instruction for all or part of the Academic Year may be delivered remotely. Tuition and fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year. Figures for tuition and fees represent currently approved or proposed amounts and may not be final. Actual tuition and fees are subject to change by the University of California as determined to be necessary or appropriate. Final approved tuition and fee levels may differ from the amounts presented.

This estimated cost of attendance is based on four terms less than half-time enrollment summer term, half-time enrollment fall quarter, half-time enrollment winter quarter and half-time enrollment spring quarter as a graduate/professional student.

  1. The Cost of Attendance (COA) does not include the one-time Document fee of $100. COA and financial aid packages are automatically adjusted for incoming students.

  2. The Cost of Attendance (COA) includes the $150 annual Rady Student Activity fee.

  3. The Cost of Attendance (COA) includes the annual UC San Diego Graduate Student Health Insurance Plan (UC SHIP) of $5,820. Read more on how to use UC SHIP or how to waive UC SHIP. (May be waived if covered by private insurance that is equivalent or better.)

  4. Non-California resident and international students are not charged a Non-California Resident Supplemental Tuition cost. Non-California residents and California residents will be considered for Federal Direct Loans only. International students will also be billed a one-time International Student Visa Administration fee of $150. International students may apply for Private Education Loans to assist with educational costs.

  5. The Rady School of Management’s Master of Business, Flex Weekend, Part-Time, California and Non-California Resident Basic Budget Total is $127,669 based on the criteria in footnote #8.

  6. The Cost of Attendance (COA) above is based on a student living off-campus. 

  7. Books, course materials, supplies, and equipment costs are included in each term’s fees amount and are provided to each student. *Course Materials Opt-Out: students may opt out of textbook and course materials coverage by emailing the Director of Graduate Student Services at gradstudentaffairs@rady.ucsd.edu. Please include “Flex Evening Course Materials Opt-Out” in your email subject line.

  8. Rady Flex MBA Evening new students entering Summer 2025 pay $1,755 per credit unit. Each year the per credit unit fee is increased. The per credit fee you start the program with will remain the same throughout the duration of your program. Year 1, the academic year cost of attendance is based on 4 credit units Summer term, 8 credit units Fall term, 8 credit units Winter term, and 8 credit units Spring term. Year 2, the academic year cost of attendance is based on 8 credit units Fall term, 8 or12 credit units Winter term, and 8 or12 credit units Spring term. Year 3, the academic year cost of attendance is based on 8 credit units Summer term and 8 credit units Fall term. Actual units taken may vary based on each student’s enrollment. The 24-30-month Rady FlexMBA Evening Program requires 80 credit units for completion.

     Note: MGT 406 is offered during Summer or Fall Quarter. If offered during the summer, it will be offered by itself prior to Fall Quarter. It is a 4-unit class. To be eligible for federal student loans, the minimum requirement is 6.

  9. The Food & Housing category includes a cost for Snacks & Meals Out. The Snacks & Meals out included in the On-Campus Food & Housing cost is $8910. The Snacks & Meals out included in the Off-Campus Food & Housing cost is $8,910.

  10. The Miscellaneous personal expenses category will be adjusted, along with federal financial aid for students enrolled less than half-time (i.e., less than 6 units). Miscellaneous personal expenses are indirect costs that are not billed to your student account.
  11. Students with dependents will be given a separate allowance in their cost of attendance.
