Forms 2020-2021

Verification Forms

These forms are required for verification of independent student status.

Loan Forms

Students who complete a FAFSA or Dream Act Application for the 2020-2021 school year can review or accept student loan options online starting Summer 2020. Students will receive an email when 2020-2021 offers are available in TritonLink.

Appeal Forms

Please note: FAS is focusing efforts to ensure all students receive initial award notices prior to reviewing appeals. Appeals received by September 15 will be processed by November 30.

If your financial circumstances have changed after you've filed your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), or CA Dream Act Application, you can file an appeal with UC San Diego. If approved, the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office may be able to adjust:

  • Your cost of attendance
  • Your expected family contribution
  • Your award (although all awards are subject to availability of funds)

Cost of Attendance Forms

Unexpected expenses can occur despite careful planning of your academic year budget. If you incur certain costs above the expenses shown on UC San Diego's estimated budgets and costs of attendance, the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office may be able to add them to your budget and cover them with student loans, based on availability of funds. On occasion, other types of funding may be available, including work study and some grants.

Please note: FAS is focusing efforts to ensure all students receive initial award notices prior to reviewing appeals. Appeals received by September 15 will be processed by November 30.
