Some or all instruction for all or part of the Academic Year may be delivered remotely. Tuition and fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year. Figures for tuition and fees represent currently approved or proposed amounts and may not be final. Actual tuition and fees are subject to change by the University of California as determined to be necessary or appropriate. Final approved tuition and fee levels may differ from the amounts presented.

The Cost of Attendance (COA) does not include the one-time Document fee of $100. COA and financial aid packages are automatically adjusted for incoming students.

Non-California resident and international students are not charged a Non-California Resident Supplemental Tuition cost. Non-California residents and California residents will be considered for Federal Direct Loans only. International students will also be billed a one-time International Student Visa Administration fee of $150. International students may apply for Private Education Loans to assist with educational costs.

Books, course materials, supplies, and equipment costs are included in each term’s fees amount and are provided to each student. *Course Materials Opt-Out: students may opt out of textbook and course materials coverage by emailing the Director of Graduate Student Services at gradstudentaffiars@rady.ucsd.edu. Please include “ MQF Course Materials Opt-Out” in your email subject line.

Rady Master of Quantitative Finance new students entering Fall 2025 pay $1,613 per credit unit. The academic year is based on 16 credit units Fall term, 16 credit units Winter term, and 16 credit units Spring term, and 4 credit units Summer term. Actual units taken may vary based on each student’s enrollment. The 12-month and the 15-month Rady Master of Quantitative Finance Program is a 52-unit STEM-Designated degree program.

The Food & Housing category includes a cost for Snacks & Meals Out. The Snacks & Meals out included in the On-Campus Food & Housing cost is $9,801. The Snacks & Meals out included in the Off-Campus Food & Housing cost is $9,801.
- The Miscellaneous personal expenses category will be adjusted, along with federal financial aid for students enrolled less than half-time (i.e., less than 6 units). Miscellaneous personal expenses are indirect costs that are not billed to your student account.
- Students with dependents will be given a separate allowance in their cost of attendance.
